Volcano Giant

Volcano - giant Azerbaijan is place to nearly four hundred mud volcanoes. Several small cones up to about four metres in height (13 feet), sometimes topping a hill of several hundred metres. Masazir Lake

Masazir salt lake is situated between Baku and Sumgait. It is one of the natural sources of salt production on the Absheron peninsula . Reaching into the lake from the town of the same name, we will see dug on the banks of white mounds of salt. Behind them, blurred figures wading in water up to his knees and drawing constantly wet salt. Together with them, stand in water old horse or UAZ car, which export the collected salt on the shore. There, the salt is stored and then packed into bags. Two parks

Chopin in Sheki

Sheki On May the concert "Chopin Year" took place in Sheki (Caravanserai). The music of Fryderyk Chopin was performed by students of the Bulbul Music School from Baku.

Chirag Qala

Chiraq QalaChirag Gala, also spelled Çiraq Qala or Çirax Qala, which means lamp (or light) castle in Azerbaijani is a ruined ancient fortress overlooking the Caspian coastal plains north of Baku in Azerbaijan. Its located on the top of a mountain, in the Guba Forest. It was constructed by the Sassanid Persians in the 5th century, it was used as a defense for the khanate of Quba in the 18th century.
